Science Safari with Professor John Hattie
Join us for an exclusive evening hosted by Emeritus Laureate Professor, John Hattie, on a Science Safari through the Big Five debates in science education. Along the way, you'll meet fellow educators, track the evidence, examine what we're doing well, and explore where the greatest opportunities for improvement lie. At the end of the journey, we'll decide which of the Big Five poses the greatest challenge, and offers the greatest opportunity, for the future of science education.

Emeritus Laureate Professor John Hattie is one of the world's most influential scholars in education research and evidence-based teaching. As the former Director of the Melbourne Education Research Institute at the University of Melbourne, his groundbreaking work has revolutionised our understanding of what truly impacts student achievement.
Professor Hattie is renowned for developing the Visible Learning framework, synthesising over 1,900 meta-analyses involving more than 130,000 studies and 400 million students. This research has become the largest evidence-based study into what actually works in schools to improve learning, making him the most cited academic in education globally.
